Jegoplay's 5th Cultural Tourism Private Board Meeting Concludes | New Investment Trends in the New National Economy
Given the new global political and economic landscape, as well as the new situation of expanding domestic demand and transforming development in China, on the one hand, high-quality cultural and tourism consumption and investment have become new necessities to meet the people's happy life and promote the healthy development of the industry. On the other hand, current cultural and tourism investments still face issues such as mismatched supply and demand, misallocated funds, lack of capability, and lack of innovation. Therefore, it is urgent to optimize reasonably in aspects such as focusing on demand, enhancing capabilities, efficient investment, and improving the environment.
On November 19th, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) held a press conference. Li Chao, Deputy Director of the NDRC's Policy Research Office and spokesperson, addressed several hot topics in the macroeconomic field. He stated that the economic performance in November and December is expected to continue the upward trend, achieving the full-year economic growth target.
In light of the new national economic situation, the fifth private board meeting of the cultural and tourism industry, hosted by Jegoplay, was successfully held in Shanghai on November 29th. This edition of the cultural and tourism industry private board meeting invited over 50 senior experts, investors, and operators in the field of cultural and tourism investment to jointly explore new trends in cultural and tourism investment under the new national economic situation.
This edition of the private board meeting, themed "New Trends in Cultural and Tourism Investment under the New National Economic Situation," saw guests engage in in-depth discussions on the following six topics:
1. How to reshape cultural and tourism development in the post-real estate era?
2. How consumers are redefining the cultural and tourism industry?
3. Innovative trends and operational highlights of the integration of culture, commerce, and tourism
4. The direction of parent-child business in the era of declining birth rates
5. New investment opportunities in the existing field after debt reduction
6. How parent-child cultural and tourism can successfully go global?
In the topic of "How to reshape cultural tourism development in the post-real estate era," Zhang Min, the director and vice president of Sanderson Global New Novex Design Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled "Strategies for Cultural Tourism Development under the New Situation." He elaborated on three aspects: the evolution of the cultural tourism era, drawing on the experience of predecessors under the new real estate situation, and the impact and way out for the cultural tourism industry.
Roundtable discussion session: Shi Mingjun, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Cultural Tourism Bureau of Luoyang District, Hefei City; Zhu Shengxuan, Chairman of Xiangban Group; Chen Yanjun, Chief Design Officer of Shanshui Bid Design Institute; and Wang Wei, Vice President of Jingyu Lvmama Group, each shared their experiences on the future trends of cultural tourism development in their respective cultural tourism fields.
In the roundtable session of "How Consumers Define the Cultural Tourism Industry," Zou Jie, the director's assistant and head of cultural tourism expansion at Shanghai Kaixin Mahua, outlined the business framework of Shanghai Kaixin Mahua for the attendees, and summarized the changes in consumer profiles in line with the changes in the business scope of Shanghai Kaixin Mahua; Liu Chuan, a partner of Xiamen Xiangxin Cultural Tourism, shared how to conduct consumer screening with corporate case studies.
Xiangyuan Travel CEO Zhou Xiongfei introduced how Xiangyuan provides consumers with diverse and ultimate travel experiences through a digital technology platform, focusing on three major directions: "service, technology, and resources." Yan Kai, General Manager of Shanghai Helv, interpreted for the attendees how Helv empowers high-quality cultural and tourism projects from the perspectives of consumers and merchants.
Zou Yi, Chairman of Lingyi Consulting, conducted a themed sharing session titled "Innovative Trends and Key Points of Cultural, Commercial and Tourism Integration." Through three aspects—China's economy, assessment of China's current consumption stage, and drawing on international experiences—he summarized the current trends in the cultural, commercial, and tourism market, which include policy support, consumption downgrade, market segmentation, innovation leadership, and value for money. He also analyzed and proposed four strategic methods: breaking boundaries, forming alliances, understanding customers, and getting involved in operations, by examining the five major hot spots of cultural, commercial, and tourism innovation: indoor immersive boxes, innovative district commerce, factory transformation commerce, park commerce, and resort commerce.
Qi Zheng, co-founder of Botao Culture; Zou Yi, Chairman of Lingyi Consulting; Yang Chuan, General Manager of Investment and Expansion in East China Region of CIFI Commercial; Li Yanding, founder of Leao Planning - Park Universe; and Kang Xiaoyan, Director of Children-Friendly Business Division of Jegoplay's Marketing Center, engaged in a further detailed discussion on the topic of "Innovative Trends and Key Points of Cultural, Commercial, and Tourism Integration."
In the roundtable discussion session themed "Where is the Path for Parent-Child Business in the Era of Declining Birth Rates," Qiao Xiaodao, founder of Wilderness Kingdom; An Pengwen, President of Beijing Mixiaoquan Culture Group; Cao Jiajun, partner of Daweikeke; Ji Dawei, Chairman of Beiwei Camp; Li Huihua, President of Jegoplay; and Zhou Ke, founder of Wilderness Science, each described the adjustments and optimizations their enterprises are making in response to the trend of declining birth rates, focusing on three aspects: users, products, and operations, in line with the changes in the consumer market.
Gao Fengbiao, Strategic Investment Director of Tongcheng Travel; Chen Ji, Assistant to the Chairman and General Manager of Business Development Center of Xiangban; and Xue Yaoqi, Chairman of Xiangjing Cultural Tourism, engaged in a roundtable discussion on the theme of "What New Investment Opportunities Exist in the Existing Field after Debt Restructuring." The participants, drawing from various perspectives and combining economic realities, conducted an in-depth analysis of the trends from both economic and industry dimensions, and elaborated on the opportunities and directions that are worth paying attention to and valuing in the future.
Li Huihua, President of Jegoplay; Li Jiaming, General Manager of B.Duck De Win Holdings; Zhang Min, Director and Vice President of Sanderson Global New Novex Design Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.; and Wu Shan, Industry Director of Ctrip Cultural Tourism Alliance, detailed successful overseas cases of parent-child cultural tourism from aspects such as the industry, platforms, and ecosystem.
In the final session of this cultural tourism industry private director's meeting, Jegoplay signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanshui Bid, the amusement park brand "Jigao Tuziwo" under Jegoplay with Xiangban Shuwa, and Jegoplay with B.Duck De Win. These partnerships injected new momentum into the content creation of the parent-child cultural tourism industry, contributing to the high-quality development of the sector.
