Why Choose Age-Appropriate Playgrounds — Taking Jegoplay Pancoat Paradise as an Example

Oct 14,2024
The three age categories of children for the purpose of playground design are “toddlers” ages 6 months through 2, “pre-school age” ages 2 through 5, and “school age” for children ages 5 through 12. By designing play equipment that is age appropriate, manufacturers and playground operators can take each different age group’s physical, intellectual, and social skills into account.
Yuehu·Jegoplay Pancoat Paradise Phase I covers an area of 50,000 square meters. From the very beginning of the design, Jegoplay has fully considered the physical and psychological characteristics of children of different ages and the matching game content. Whether they are older children or toddlers, they can understand the world through continuous perception and exploration, and build their own knowledge system here. The designers of Jegoplay have made full use of sunlight, air, land, sand pools, flowers, trees, toys, and materials in the outdoor natural environment to establish a relationship and information transfer with the children's life, soul, and spirit in the construction of the play space. Touch nature lightly, and grow up happily.

Toddlers’ Sensory Play Area
The toddler sandbox at the Rabbit Village consistently sparks boundless imagination and a desire to explore in young children. For kids at this developmental stage, even the most straightforward actions possess a powerful capacity for perception and reception. The sandbox, swings, seesaws, and slides beneath the large trees offer a multitude of different tactile and sensory experiences, igniting the children's interest. The enclosed nature of the sandbox provides a sense of security, while the adjacent caretaker seating facilitates parents' ability to rest and engage in social activities while keeping an eye on their little ones.
Certainly, the joy of sensory play extends beyond that. Jegoplay enhances opportunities for young children to naturally play by blurring the lines between play areas and garden paths. The seesaws by the roadside, the bouncing nets nestled in the flower beds, and the spinning discs beneath the forest trees all add to this enriched play experience.
Cognitive Playground for Preschoolers
The shallow wading pool at the water fortress, the adorable animal sprays, the water& sand play are just a few examples of the diverse and creative play units available. Preschool-aged children are currently in a sensitive period for language acquisition and the initial stages of abstract thinking development. They require a range of "loose materials" with various textures that they can interact with using their hands to understand and alter, which in turn sparks their creativity. The integrated sand and water play is undoubtedly a "favorite" among preschoolers.
Play Area for School-Age Children (Ages 5-12)
The Pancoat Play Tower offers over 30 types of unpowered play values. For school-age children, their thinking begins to transition from naivety to maturity, and they possess a certain level of logical thinking and imagination. They require outdoor activity areas to exercise their creativity and imagination, ample space for physical activities, and most importantly, to alleviate academic pressure.
Shared family social space for all ages
The designers at Jegoplay, while arranging age-specific play areas thoughtfully, also prioritize the creation of social spaces that foster parent-child interaction. On the multi-functional sports field, kids and their parents can run and play to their heart's content. This environment is designed to inspire children to independently understand nature and explore science, thereby rekindling the warmth and beauty of urban living.
